Holly Stewart designs and creates home furnishings & accessories, paper products and scarves.

Attention to color, form, craft and detail, her works are pieces of contemporary art and design.
With a degree in fine art Stewart began working with silk and fabrics that usually took the form of elegant and colorful scarves.

"I've always had a passion for reupholstery.  My mother was always recovering furniture, reusing an old piece and giving it new life.

My new work involves the idea of a challenge I set out for myself.  I want to make the silk purse from the sow's ear... so to speak.  I love to find an unusable piece and bring it to glorious life.  Recovering is a good term, these pieces are recovered and made new again, but with a twist.

Vintage fabrics have striking style, patterns and color options that challenge my sensibilities.  I make choices and reinvent with the individual piece and fabric on the spot.  Every new item becomes a work of art for the home."
